Yesterday was the 13th Jordan Planet meeting which was my 2nd , all in all it was much better than the previous one , which was described by some members as a total failure !

The meeting was held at Librarie De Paris at Jabal El-Weibdeh , I got there at 6:15 , to find Khalida , Kinzi , Abdel Aziz , Nasim , Marcy , Natasha , & Lina gathering around a table , I joined and started the routine talk while more citizens and non-citizens continued to attend , till we end up up with 31 members - according to Khalida statistics - having Nasim the first to leave and Ammar the last to attend as usual , a classical Jordan Planet meeting . We started the meeting by introducing ourselves to the the others , some I knew from the previous meeting , and I was glad to meet the rest

After this warm up , the " REAL TALK " started , where all the smiles and laughters disappeared , and everyone had his / her own serious look , zai el 3anjad , anyway we talked about several topics and misfortunately we didn't full fill any of them , and everyone was satisfied by calling it " Brain Storming " . Topics included

• Introducing Jordan Planet to the community
  • By making campaigns in schools to narrow the gap , and introduce the idea of blogging to the others
• Transforming Jordan Planet into an official Entity
  • Where the serious look for everyone reached its maximum , there was no bright side at all , it was all about obstacles
• The increase demand of bandwidth , server load , o hai el sawalef el tarma
  • Which in my opinion is all about funding , if there is money we can get whatever we want , " Money Talks "
• Funding
  • Some suggestions included
  • To gather donations
  • To look for sponsors
  • Advertisements on the JP website
  • To establish a cooperative fund raising project
• The next Jordan Planet Meetings
  • There was mainly 3 options for further meetings
  • Organized into a seminar room , from a personal point of view I don't think it will be a good idea , unless there was a serious issue that needs to be discussed and full filled 100%
  • Social Meetings , to meet in a coffee shop or a restaurant , I guess this should be the steady state
  • Trip , that will be a good idea for more social interaction and funding too
  • There will be a poll about this soon in the JP website

After that we started to divide into smaller groups , talking about work , studying , blogging , life , the classical MEN-women conflict ........
