After Two months
After two months of being in Amman , with lots of time wasting ..... After two months of electives , doing almost nothing at the Jordan University Hospital ..... After two months of relaxation , boredom , and stress free holiday , after two months of being away of my daily routine in the past years ; I was back , today was my second day in the new pediatrics rotation back there in Irbid .
With all my tensed up feeling about going back to books - which I know deep inside that I will keep stuck to till a pretty long time of the rest of my life - I kind of missed all that stressing stuff , I am not getting soft here , I still hate it , but do you know the things we hate much turns to be the exact same things we miss when they are gone ........ because somehow we got used to them ; for me since the elective started , I started to spend more free time with my family , I started to cause lots of trouble , I was the No. 1 annoying & troublesome person at house for 2 consecutive months , my pictures were hanged all over the house " Wanted dead or dead " . I am not used to be the one who gets the stuff all the time , I am not used to be the one who is asked to take care of everything , I am not used to be the one who drive in the damn traffic and stuck there for 15 minutes to get my brothers out of school ........ 3anywayz , somehow this ended today since from now on I will be busy " studying " ! Yeah right !
Now , I will be restoring myself to a point two months ago , despite all the stuff that took place during those two months , and all the changes that had been made , which I needed most for the upcoming period !

I am sure they enjoyed your stay despite all the annoying things and no matter how long the vacation is; there comes a time when it ends and you go back to work again ..
Now you will start complaining about how busy you are and how hectic and stressful your life is .. fhemna ya doctor .. LOL

yes ur right when u miss a place u miss even the things u hated there! when i miss jordan i miss even the m3eez that used to come and eat the leaves off our neeneh trees!! :P

You know what? I felt the same last saturday... itwas the first time i wait for a bus in a rainy day since i left uni, deep inside me i wished that i take the uni bus instead ofthe company bus...
i miss walking from sharee3a to engineering under the rain, meeting my friend midway and talking to him for 5 minutes before i run back to my lecture...
ok that's nice...
but the strange thing is that i miss the stress! yup, the time races to finish with the rough courses, even i miss Dr. Jamal Rahhal, and Dr. Moh.Kamel!

well well well .. so your back to elective and books :) .. and the things you hate most turned out to be the ones you missed most .. that was a phrase that needs a puase .. hmm .. you may have a point here Dar ..

Does this happen to everyone who studies in another city? My sister used to keep complaining about Kerak and universuty there, and after graduation she was like: those were the best days!
